Firmhelm Limited is a family run business that has been trading for 30 years and is now established as the leading repair and servicing yard in the Northwest and Wales.
Firmhelm operates from two sites namely the original site at the Outer Harbour where facilities include 3.000 square feet of undercover workshop space. Secure onshore storage facilities with electricity and water available and boat hoists for up to 20 tons as well as rigging shop and chandlery stores.

At the Pwllheli, Marine Centre Site, the facilities include boat hoists of up to 40 tons and a further 3,000 square feet of workshop space where craft of up to 70 feet can be worked upon undercover. We have secure onshore storage facilities with water and electricity.

Located directly adjacent to the boat hoist dock and marina at Hafan PwIIheIi our retail shop has been purpose built to serve the needs of the boating public. Our chandlery department has everything from nautical books and charts to life rafts. Names including: Lewmar, Harken, Plastimo, Seasure, Ocean Safety, Seago, Holt Allen, Jabsco, Crewsaver, Wichard and Liros Ropes are stocked extensively together with International and Blakes Marine Paints. Safety equipment is strongly featured and our staff will be pleased to advise you. We also have the largest sailing and leisure wear department in North Wales. Our trained staff are able to advise customers on the technical range of marine wear we are large stockists of Musto technical and leisurewear, Henri-Lloyd, Gill, Chatham Leisure, Buff, Wombat and Kikoy are held together with shoes from Dubarry, Chatham and Quayside.
