For sail and power
The Reeds Skippers Handbook, now in its 5th edition, has been a bestseller since first publication. A handy pocket size, it is an aide-memoire of everything a boater would need to know at sea. Packed with a wide range of information in a concise form it is frequently recommended by Yachtmaster TM Instructors as a quick reference guide and as a revision aid for anyone taking their Day Skipper and Yachtmaster TM certificates.
The 5th edition has been updated and reorganised to make it even easier for the reader to navigate right to the information they want. There is an expanded section on navigating with electronics and new sections on electronic chart plotters, radar and AIS and new tidal calculation information. Boathandling and Seamanship have also been expanded, and now include advice on leaving a berth with wind and tide, following a transit, negotiating narrow channels, and ropework.
Reeds Skipper's Handbook is a must for anyone going to sea in any size of boat - be they novice or old hand.
